How Kenya Responded After Scores Of KDF Soldiers Were Killed In Somalia

News of downed KDF soldiers went viral yesterday. Photos of soldiers allegedly being dragged along the streets of Somalia emerged after its base was attacked by militants. The Telegraph reports that an Al-Shabaab spokesman claimed that the attack killed about 63 Kenyan soldiers.

โ€œThere is no more fighting. We counted 63 Kenyan bodies inside the base. There were 31 military vehicles inside the camp, we have confiscated 28 of them plus all the arms and ammunition in the stores,โ€ he told the BBC. However, the Kenyan Military has refuted those claims, but are yet to disclose the number of casualties killed in the raid.
